The PeriCell protocol is designed for the volume reduction of peripheral blood stem cell preparations following leukaphaeresis. The hematopoietic stem cells can then be further prepared for cryopreservation.
The PeriCell protocol allows processing of units from 100 to 840 ml using multiple cycles if required.
The final volume can be manually set from 30 to 600 ml and is a function of the total number of cells present in the unit.
This protocol is recommended when optimisation of cell concentration and reduction of infusion related DMSO toxicity are required.
- Volume reduction up to 80%
- High recovery rates of WBC and CD34+
- Final cell concentration can be adjusted
